7 Digital Marketing Blogs We Love For Our Clients

I was looking through my Feedly for a blog on SEO to share with a client, and I realized just how many great ones there are.

I quickly realized that most of them are written TO the marketing industry and could be confusing to business owners.

So I decided to collect some of my favorites that I think are great for business owners wanting to learn.  I tried to include some from different marketing areas, so check them out and add one or two to your Feedly RSS.  Don’t use Feedly?  You should! It’s the easiest way to stay informed on any topic so that you are continually growing, learning and sharpening your tools.

My favorite blog posts for the non-marketing professional:

  1. Just getting started with B2B marketing?  B2B Marketing’s blog is packed full of  educational resources.
  2. Want to keep up with what’s going on in SEO?  Search Engine Land  takes a more ‘newsy’ approach but is a great way to keep up with a topic that affects everyone who is trying to generate traffic online.
  3. Mark Schaefer’s  {grow} blog has a very engaging writing style.  His blog posts are easy to read (you don’t need to be a marketing expert to follow along) and are pretty short and to the point.  Definitely worth following along!
  4. Speaking of short . . . Seth Godin’s  Seth’s blog posts are often 1-2 paragraphs, but are packed with wisdom.
  5. If you are interested in digging deeper into SEO, then dig into the blog at https://moz.com/blog.  Their tagline says it all:  “We know SEO. In fact, we wrote the blog on it.”
  6. The blog at HubSpot is my go-to for topics related to inbound marketing.  What’s inbound marketing, you ask?  That’s a topic for another post.  Can’t wait?  Head over to HubSpot’s and find out https://www.hubspot.com/inbound-marketing
  7. And of course . . . if you want to learn from the digital marketing guru himself, follow Neil Patel’s blog for information on all aspects of digital marketing.
