Understanding Custom Order Status

You have complete control over what you want your customers to see in the Order Status fields on the order. This information can be based on the Order Status field from Acctivate or a combination of the Order Status and Work Flow Status (if you use this module).

For each Order Status and Work Flow Status combination, you can specify what you want to display on the portal. For example:

  • For an order that is “Scheduled” with WFS (Work Flow Status) of “Credit Hold” you might want to display “Contact Your Sales Rep”
  • For an order that is “Scheduled” with WFS that is either “Ready To Pick” or “Pick In Progress” you might want to display “In Process”

These messages can be set up in the Admin / Manage Order Status page.
