How to point your domain or subdomain to ExcelSS servers

To use a custom domain with our Customer Portals or Hosted Ecommerce systems, you will need to point your domain or a subdomain to our nameservers or the IP address of your service.

Share the following information with your system administrator or the person who manages your domains.

If you are pointing a full domain to our service:

If you want to delegate the whole domain to ExcelSS nameservers; you only have to follow your domain registrar procedure to point the domain (NS records) to:

• ns1.excelhosting1.com
• ns2.excelhosting1.com

If you are pointing a subdomain to our service:

If you are only pointing a subdomain to our service and will maintains the control of its DNS zone, you will need to add an A record to the zone pointing to the cPanel account for your service. Your implementation specialist should have provided the IP address to you. If you do not have it, reach out to support@excelss.com and we will get it to you.
